52 Week Project

01st January 2012
This blog post has been created to keep track of my 52 week project that I will be undertaking with some fellow photographer friends via an online forum on Photography On The.Net.
Each week a new subject will be set to help us venture outside of our current comfort zone and help our creative juices flow!

Week 1, No Subject.

By selecting a shallow DOF with my 50mm f/1.8, I have been able to create the illusion of bokeh lights flowing from the top of my Caramel Latte.

Week 2, Dusk/Dawn.

The next task was Dawn/Dusk, which was a mission considering all we've had all week is cloud in the sky!!
This morning (Wednesday 11th Jan) I noticed a pretty clear sky, so I set about finding a good spot in the house to take a snap from while sorting out the kids for school.
I eventually found a good spot, it was one handed while trying to adjust the f/stop, ISO and set live view so I could compose the shot through the bathroom window!

Week 3, Hollywood.

To say this weeks subject was a brain drain is an understatement!
Hollywood..
Other then my neighbours daughter called Holly having her picture taken in local woodland and a holly bush I was totally gazumped!!
Then wondering into my son's bedroom I noticed his new Lego set he got for Christmas. Armed with this and a flash wrapped in card to direct the light source I set about making a small movie scene called "The Bank Job".
